1. Our Commitment
LYRA Music respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA) and applicable international copyright law, we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using the LYRA Music platform.
2. Reporting Infringement (Takedown Notice)
If you believe that content on LYRA Music infringes your copyright, please send a written notice (a "DMCA Takedown Notice") to our designated agent. Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on LYRA Music that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., the URL of the track or page).
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Warning: Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may expose you to liability, including damages and legal fees under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
3. Counter-Notice
If you believe that content you posted was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to our designated agent. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or Germany, for users outside the US), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notice.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action within that period.
4. Repeat Infringers
LYRA Music will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright.
